Opportunity Grants will help cover preliminary costs for talented students from Turkmenistan, who need financial help to study in the US colleges and universities.
There are no complicated forms or procedures. Students, who want to apply just have to contact the Educational Advisor at ACCELS in Ashgabat or the American Corners in Mary, Turkmenabat, and Dashoguz.
What can this grant pay for?
Translation and Visa
Cost of translation and notary attestation of applicants’ official documents.
US Visa cost and SEVIS fees and other visa-related fees
Travel and scholarship
Airfare to US university
Settling-in allowance
Limited financial aid to pay for tuition costs in the first year.
Tests
Test fees: TOEFL, SAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, which are required for entrance to US universities
Roundtrip to test location in Ashgabat if it is far from your home
